PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
FV448 alloy is usually produced by AOD / EAF followed by electroslag refining (ESR) / VAR if necessary for special purpose. Bars and, where applicable, forgings are subjected to ultrasonic examination based on the different levels according to the buyers' requirements.
Bars are usually supplied bright in the annealed condition.
Final heat treatment - quenched and tempered.

Square bar / flat bar: 8 to 600 mm
Heavy/middle plate via hot rolled: T7 ~ 300 X W20 ~ 1000 X L1000 ~ 6000 mm
Sheet steel via cold rolled: T0.5 ~ 6 X W10 ~ 1000 X L1000 ~ 2000 mm
Forging piece: stepped shafts, other different shapes based on OEM.
