X12CrNiMoV12-3, a martensitic Cr-Ni-Mo-V base steel, round bar 1.4938 flat bar, and forging plate, ESR & VAR technique, gas turbine parts processing
TECHNICAL DATA SHEET - X12CrNiMoV12-3
X12CrNiMoV12-3 & 1.4938 is usually produced by EF + VD followed by electroslag refining (ESR) if necessary for special purpose. Bars and, where applicable, forgings are subjected to ultrasonic examination based on the different level according to the buyers' requirements.
Bars are usually supplied bright in the annealing condition.
Final heat treatment - quenched + tempered + STR.
