PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
EN 1.4938 is usually produced by AOD / EAF followed by electroslag refining (ESR) if necessary for special purpose. Bars and, where applicable, forgings are subjected to ultrasonic examination based on the different level according to the buyers' requirements.
Bars are usually supplied bright in the annealing condition.
Final heat treatment - QT + SRA.
INVENTORY - Forged bar diameter 50 ~ 210mm, ESR ingot.

Square bar / flat bar: 8 to 600 mm
Plate / sheet steel / steel strip: 0.8 to 300 mm
