17-4PH is normally used in mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, in the petrochemical industry and in the petroleum industry - aerospace, marine, paper, energy, offshore and food industries
 
17-4PH is one of the most popular and most commonly used stainless chromium-nickel alloy steels with copper additive, precipitation hardened with martensitic structure. It is characterized by high corrosion resistance while maintaining high strength properties, including hardness and retaining relatively good parameters. 17-4PH is widely used in manufacturing the high strength, anti-corrosive forge piece for planes, gas turbine and other machined parts.
