2nd Tempered: 538-560° C for 3 hours min followed by air cool
Annealed: 691° C (+/-11) for 6 hours min followed by air cool
Hardened:1052° C (+/-) for 30 mins followed by oil quench

2nd Tempered: 538-560° C for 3 hours min followed by air cool
MELTING PROCESS
Grade X12CNDV12 alloy is usually produced by BEF + VD, followed by electroslag refining (ESR or VAR ) if necessary for special purpose.
