X4CrNiCuMo14-5 displays an excellent material for last-stage turbine blades, where high mechanical strength, good fatigue resistance, and reliable performance at elevated temperatures are critical

X4CrNiCuMo14-5 is designated as a martensitic stainless steel and also known as S145, 1.4594 or FV520B (precipitation hardening) stainless steel. It is widely used in high-stress applications, such as turbine blades, due to its excellent combination of mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and heat treatability.

Steel X4CrNiCuMo14-5 displays an excellent material for last-stage turbine blades, where high mechanical strength, good fatigue resistance, and reliable performance at elevated temperatures are critical.
Its corrosion resistance also makes it suitable for the harsh, high-moisture environment typical of steam turbines.
These properties make it a preferred choice for high-performance turbine applications where material reliability and longevity are paramount.
