APPLICATION FIELD
Maraging 250 / AMS 6512 is an age-hardenable iron-nickel steel. Alloy C250 combines ultra-high strength (1750MPa), superior toughness, readily machinable in pre-aged condition, excellent transverse properties and resistance to crack propagation. maraging C250 is used for missile and ejector systems, slat tracks and drive shafts.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Bars and, where applicable, forgings are subjected to ultrasonic examination based on the different levels according to the buyers' requirements.
Bars are usually supplied black/bright in the annealed condition.
Final heat treatment - solution treatment, ageing treated.
Steel strip via cold rolled: T0.1 - 3mm X W5 - 200mm X L (or in coil form)
Forging piece: stepped shaft, and other different shapes based on OEM.
