MATERIAL CATEGORY - a special Nonmagnetic, austenitic Mn-Cr-steel with a high nitrogen content.

Chromium, Cr (％): 18.3 ~ 20.0

Nickel, Ni (％): ≥ 1.40
Molybdenum, Mo (％): ≥ 0.50

Nitrogen, N (％): ≥ 0.55

HOT WORKING, HEAT TREATMENT CYCLE

Hot working temperature: 1150 ~ 950℃

Quenching or solution treatment temperature: 1020~1120℃, water & oil cooled

Tensile strength, Rm ≥ MPa: 1035
Yield strength, Rp0.2 ≥ MPa: 900
Elongation, A5 ≥ (％): 20.0
Impact strength, Akv ≥ J: 80

Hardness: HB 350 ~ 430 (cold worked)

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The alloy is usually produced by AOD + BEF / EAF followed by electroslag refining (ESR) / VAR if necessary for special purpose.
PRODUCT FORMS & DIMENSIONS
Round bar (diameter): 5.5 to 450mm
Square bar / flat bar: 10mm to 300mm

Length: random length, fixed length, or based on the customer's special requirement.

Forging piece: stepped shafts, other different shapes based on OEM.
