TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
A high level of useful mechanical properties under severe environmental conditions. Alloy 13-8 Stainless Steel is used in aerospace components, landing gear, nuclear reactor components, petrochemical industry, injection molding equipment etc. Alloy 13-8 Stainless Steel in the annealed condition can be strengthened further by relatively low temperature heat treatment.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The alloy is usually produced by VIM followed by electroslag refining (ESR) / VAR if necessary for special purpose. Bars and, where applicable, forgings are subjected to ultrasonic examination based on the different levels according to the buyers' requirements.
Bars are usually supplied black/bright in solution annealed condition.
Final heat treatment - solution + ageing treated
SHAPES & DIMENSIONS
Round bar / wire rod (diameter): 5.50mm to 600mm
Square bar / Flat bar: 3mm to 800mm
Length: Fixed length or random length or based on the customer's special requirement.
Heavy/middle plate via hot rolled: T60 - 300mm X W1000- 2500mm X L1000-12000mm
Sheet steel via cold rolled: T0.5 - 6mm X W600- 1000mm X L1000 - 2000mm
Steel strip via cold rolled: T0.1 - 3mm X W5 - 200mm X L (or in coil form)
