2026-08-16 09:02:59 Origin: Remark:0 Click:
Martensitic steel 17-4PH displays good hardness in the treated condition (44 HRC) and its resilience, the grade is used in particular in the manufacture of instruments for the medical sector, in general mechanics, in the food industry and in the automotive sector.
MATERIAL DESIGNATION
17-4PH is one of the most popular and most commonly used stainless chromium-nickel alloy steels with copper additive, precipitation hardened with martensitic structure. It is characterized by high corrosion resistance while maintaining high strength properties, including hardness and retaining relatively good parameters.
17-4PH is widely used in manufacturing the high strength, anti-corrosive forge piece for planes, gas turbine and other machined parts.
