1.4938 (X12CrNiMoV12-3) is a high-alloy content of 12.0%Cr - 3.0% Ni - 2.0% Mo steel with the addition of vanadium for carburization with a martensitic structure, 1.4938 has high strength properties and significantly increased resistance to oxidation, X12CrNiMoV12 is used for the production of aviation propellers, especially loaded gears, ball screws, responsible parts working at elevated temperatures.
